Result-driven approach
Linked Africa utilizes data analytics to understand mentor and mentee requests, identifies recruitment bottlenecks, and measures program effectiveness to ensure that the program effectively meets the needs of both mentors and mentees.

The feedback loop is used to identify areas for improvement, refine program strategies, and ensure that the mentorship experience remains relevant and effective over time. By actively listening to the needs and experiences of those involved, the program can adapt and evolve to better serve the community.

Membership and Sponsorship
This model is to encourage ongoing participation and create a sense of ownership among program participants. Additionally, the program actively seeks sponsorships from local businesses to secure financial resources and reduce reliance on external funding. This diversified funding approach contributes to the program’s financial stability and long-term viability.
Guide-the-Guide Program
This program focuses on training local leaders and mentors, equipping them with the necessary skills to independently manage and sustain the mentorship program. By building local capacity, the program aims to create a self-sustaining model that can continue to benefit the community in the long run.

My mentorship experience has brought me to a realization of things I already knew but wasn’t paying so much attention to, yet they are very important. There was also a lot of relearning and restructuring of goals and actions.
My mentor makes this mentoring experience a delight. He uses real life experiences to explain each topic we treat, he gives me the opportunity to share my ideas as well.

Founded on June 21, 2023, and officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization on February 20, 2024, Linked Africa is rapidly growing into a global network connecting students and young professionals with leaders across the African diaspora and the world.
First steps
After a year of dedicated planning and development, Linked Africa officially incorporated in 2023. This marked a significant milestone as we embarked on our mission to connect and empower African professionals.
- Official Incorporation : In June 21, 2023, Linked Africa was incorporated as a public benefit corporation.
Launch of the First Mentorship Cohort
In a significant milestone, Linked Africa launched its inaugural mentorship program on August 31, 2024, connecting the first cohort of 10 mentees with experienced professionals across the globe. This marked the culmination of months of dedicated work, including official incorporation as a 501(c)(3) organization, the launch of the Linked Africa website, and the successful recruitment of both mentors and mentees.
Key Accomplishments :
- Successful Launch of the Mentorship Program : Successfully initiated the first cohort of 10 mentees, marking the official commencement of Linked Africa's core mission.
- Strong Community Growth : Attracted over 100 mentee applications and onboarded 50+ mentors from more than 20 countries, demonstrating significant early interest and community building.
- Website Launch & Platform Development : Successfully launched the Linked Africa website, providing a key platform for communication, resource sharing, and program management.
- 501(c)(3) Status Achieved : Secured 501(c)(3) non-profit status, solidifying Linked Africa's commitment to its mission and enabling greater impact.

- MentorConnect : Building on the success of our inaugural event, we'll host this networking event quarterly to strengthen our mentor community and foster valuable connections.
- Guide-the-Guide : We'll launch a quarterly training program to equip you with the skills and resources needed to excel in your mentorship role.
- Informative Webinars : We'll host 2-4 webinars on key topics like education pathways, in-demand skills, and career advancement strategies.
- Upgraded Platform : We're migrating to an industry-leading mentoring software to enhance the experience for both mentors and mentees.
